Luminea Fibre 2M / 3M
These fibre optics respond along with the rest of your SHX sensory room, or on their own – it’s up to you! Use a variety of controllers to change the colours of the fibre optics, program the fibre optics to move through colour sequences, or allow the fibre optics to match the colours in the scene being projected by the SHX system.
Changes of color in the highly visually-appealing fibre optic strands support attention and focus: ideal for learning cause and effect, recognizing colors, and encouraging communication. When placed on the lap, these fibre optics possess a weight that also adds a deep pressure element for calming, emotional regulation and body awareness.

These high-brightness, colour-changing fibre optic strands come in lengths of 2M or 3M. A light source is included. Touch, hold or spread out these fibre optics for multisensory input. Great for incorporating imaginary play and for bringing the sensory experience close to the user.
Using Luminea Fibres within the SHX System
When used as part of an SHX sensory room, the Luminea Fibre is a powerful tool for immersion in relevant sensory room scenes. They can be programmed to activate along with a myriad of SHX content and can be coordinated with other sensory room lighting elements, or pieces of music. Choose to light the fibres on their own for just one focal visual input in an otherwise low sensory space, or activate the fibres as a lighting action within any sensory scene in the SHX software.
Using the Luminea Fibres with the Luminea App
The Luminea Fibres can also be controlled directly from your Android device. Just download the free Luminea App, connect your Android device to the WiFi network that is generated by the Luminea Fibres and you instantly have dynamic control, as well as having access to a number of activities included within the Luminea App.
