The SHX technology allows all all compatible multisensory elements in the room to act in coordination with the image or video being projected to create a truly immersive sensory experience. This system comes complete with an extensive amount of projection content, including images, videos and music. Content is organised into easy-to-navigate tabs, with additional content easy to create which includes the user’s videos, music and images, with corresponding sensory effects in the room.
The projector included with this system works from of a centre of control – the SHX Central Rack. This allows all of the interactive and multimedia elements of the room to work in harmony with the image or video being projected.This makes it possible to create themed environments or to design specific activities with infinite interaction possibilities depending on each user’s needs. There are several options for selecting and moving through images and media including tablet, buttons, switches, mats and panels.
The projection and all corresponding elements of the SHX System have been designed by professionals specialising in special educational needs, including Occupational Therapists, Psychologists and Software Developers who are experts in usability and interaction.
