Professional Development & Training

Our team consisting of an Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologists and Assistive Technology experts are able to provide in-depth clinical, therapeutic and technical training and professional development across a range of topics related to multisensory environments, sensory rooms, and assessment of sensory and communication needs. If you have a specific training requirement for yourself, your client, or your organisation, we are able to design and deliver professional development, information or education specific to your needs. This can be delivered remotely via an online platform or we are able to come to you to deliver training and support in person. Multisensory Environments – Training & Support Packages

 

Multisensory Training & Support Package 1

Includes 1 x 2hr onsite post-install training (technical / operational), provision of relevant product manuals and unlimited remote technical support for 1 year.

Price: $730 for Adelaide customers / $730 + Travel for remote and interstate.

 

Multisensory Training & Support Package 2

Includes 2 x 2hr post-install training (technical / operational) in the form of the same training delivered twice to different groups of site users OR 1 x basic training plus 1 x follow-up extension / advanced features training. Unlimited remote technical support for warranty period of system. Provision of relevant product manuals. Provision of a limited number of therapeutic activity outlines for use of the multisensory environment.

Price: $1,460 for Adelaide / $1,460 + Travel for remote and interstate (2 trips).

 

Multisensory Training & Support Package 3

Includes 2 x 2hr post-install training (operational / technical focus) + 5 hrs total of in-person or remote clinical support from a qualified, experienced clinician to be used for support including, but not limited to: developing staff & site knowledge & understanding of sensory room theory & application for users with different needs (clinical / professional), developing specific user sensory profiles and individualised user plans for sensory room, developing supporting procedures for sensory room use (e.g. schedules, client education). Unlimited remote technical support for warranty period of system. Provision of relevant product manuals. Provision of a limited number of therapeutic activity outlines for use of the multisensory environment.

Price: $2,310 (2 x 2hr training + 5 hrs remote clinical) for Adelaide OR $2,650 (2 x 2hr training + 5 hours onsite clinical) for Adelaide.

Travel costs to be added to above price for traveling to remote regions and interstate.

 

Clinical Training for Clients with an Existing Multisensory Space

1 x 2hr session: $510 for Adelaide.

2 x 2hr session: $1,020 for Adelaide.

Travel costs to be added to above price for traveling to remote regions and interstate.

 

Multisensory Training & Support – Per Hour

Additional training per hour; added to any other training package or used as standalone hours. Delivered by a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist. Training content customised to needs of user / site. Link Assistive is a registered NDIS provider for therapeutic services.

Price: $170 + travel.
